Our Process
We have made every effort to make this process both simple and efficient. Upon completing your order, we will send you a collection kit and pre-labeled padded envelope. Your envelope, with the cremated remains, will be addressed directly to the artist and sent via priority express mail (signature required). The Ash Experiment takes responsibility for the shipping cost of this kit. Please check your return label for accuracy and bring your packaged kit to the post office. Keep your receipt for tracking. *Cremated remains are sent in strict accordance with the United States Postal Service.
How To Complete Your Kit:
Using the enclosed plastic scoop, please put 5 scoops of the cremated remains* into the enclosed, labeled, ziploc bag. Make sure the seal is zipped properly. *If commingling ashes of more than one loved one, please mix before filling.
Put the labeled bag into the larger, clear cello plastic bag. Using one of your logo labels, close the cello bag and put into the padded Express Mail padded envelope.
Please seal the Express Mail padded envelope tightly with tape (your order confirmation will be inside the envelope).
Drop off the envelope at the post office and get a receipt with your tracking number. Please email robin@theashexperiment.com with your tracking number and order number.
